When was the last time you shaved your legs? Last summer, and I think I'm the only one other than Jadzia not answering that in sarcasm. It wasn't unpleasant at all, in fact I enjoyed the smoothness. It's not comfortable when it grows back, however.
What were you doing this morning at 8? I was at my computer, working on a paper for school.
What are you wearing right now? How detailed shall I be? I'm wearing my dress slacks, but I've removed my button-up so I'm simply in an undershirt on top. I'm not expecting visitors at this hour.
Are you mad at anyone right now? Always, but it's the sort of 'mad' that is more of a dull hate at all times.
The last two people to say they loved you? My mother and sister.
Kissed someone in the last 24 hrs? No, not that recently.
Are you happy with your living arrangements? At least I have a window and free reign to walk about the hospital; it's more than should be reasonably given to someone so questionable.
Last thing received in the mail? Bills from my school. Isn't it "in" to go paperless, though?
Have you ever been searched by the cops? Yes, I have. I was then taken to prison on two occassions. It's not all that exciting, actually.
Are you any good at math? I should think so.
Are you taken for granted? I shouldn't think so.
Have you ever been awake for 48 hours straight? I may not sleep very much, but I don't often make a point to neglect my health. Hardly 48 hours straight, in any case.
Do you like the ocean? I've never really explored one.
Did you stay friends with your ex's? N/A.
What are you excited about? Why the date in a few days!
What did you do two nights ago? Finished the research for the essay I'm currently composing, and searched (with George's help) for something online.
Are any of your great-grandparents still alive? No, they are not.
Do you remember the most naughty night of your life? What sort of 'naughty'? Does it simply have to involve breaking the law? I certainly remember.
Would you rather sleep with someone else, or alone? I've only slept with another person three times. I hardly have enough basis to form a decision off of.
Where do you want to be in 6 years? A hospital, although not this sort!
Something that you aren’t? In a hospital for
physical ailments.
When is the last time you laughed? I suppose the last time I was sufficiently amused.
Last time you cried? I can't recall.
Have you ever questioned your sexuality? I did start noticing an attraction to males, and while I'd always
assumed I exclusively liked women, I wasn't attached to the notion ideologically, so it didn't bother me. I don't define myself by who I feel comfortable fucking, and only somewhat by who I would have a relationship with. So 'question' may invoke the wrong feelings for my discovery that I wasn't heterosexual.
What is your greatest fear? Hmm. I suppose if my room had no windows...that would be up there.
Would you ever want to be a doctor? Why or why not? I think it's safe to assume I would like to be a doctor.
Have you ever experienced unrequited love? What did you do about it? I waited until it seemed appropriate to move on my feelings in both cases.
Do you like to drink wine? Very much so, especially red wine.
How long was your longest relationship? Four months.
What do your friends do to try to cheer you up? My therapist encourages me to talk, and my closest friend also encourages me to talk. I would say that it's making me talk, then, though it's debateable whether it's more for my benefit or theirs...
Strangely enough, I even wear pajamas when going to bed! I usually dress more formally, of course, but when I'm home on my own I like to take advantage of that fact sometimes.
Wait for what?
I do enjoy your company when you're over, George.
I'm fascinated by the human body. Everything in it is a beautiful, refined tool that has evolved to do specific tasks as efficiently as possible. Of course, less than desirable breeding habits means we've rather stopped evolving at this point, but it's a marvel. I deeply enjoy learning about the form and function of all the systems and their inter-dependency.
It also calls for very exact dexterity (when performing autopsies, biopsies, surgeries, etc), skill, and quick thinking, but still allows for the quiet and reflection of research papers. It's an ideal field for me, though I still want to expand my learnings after graduating school and paying off these loans (which actually are relatively few for the high cost; I mostly have scholarships).
