Have you ever had the experience of something burning in the back of the passageways of your mind, its flames licking at everything around it as though it fixed to leave nothing else in your head but that? Even my studies have failed to suppress it so far this week.


I am aching to get out of this hospital, by the way, to any of our lovely staff that notice this journal entry. It would be hard for anyone to argue that I haven't been on very good behavior for quite some time now.~

And a very happy (and belated) birthday to dear George. I do hope you're not going to celebrate living another year by smoking a death stick!

Of course I'm not, but most law enforcement seems to think so and I do feel pressured to keep up appearances!

You don't enjoy tea as much after being in America so long?

I like both, but I can't manage to make a latté with a regular old coffee maker. (Or, rather, it just isn't the same when you triple the amount of coffee grinds to make makeshift espresso, and boil milk instead of steaming it. It's...ugh, I don't want to remember that taste.)

You could easily make a tea latte, though, by boiling the milk! It's simply something that requires some finesse, and if you're not busy later I will gladly stop by and show you.

Hmm, I don't know. Sounds like it would taste...odd, but I suppose I'm willing to try anything once!
